Joining Guerrero in the cast are Alfonso Herrera (Queen of the South), Bryan Greenberg (The Tick), and Jose Ruiz-Gonzales. The series is directed by Jeanette Moreno King, with Jeanette Jeanenne stepping in as co-director on the 10 episodes. Eva Gonzalez Szigriszt and Pamela Garcia Rooney serve as the writers. To accomplish Woman in the Book's animation, Crypt TV looked to Starburns Industries, which is most notable for its work on Rick & Morty and the 2015 film Anomalisa.
